Description Aurora's past preserved by the Society through the collection and care of artifacts and documents * responsible for over 10,000 artifacts relating to the history of the Town of Aurora * owns and operates Hillary House, a National Historic Site currently celebrating its 150th year * only National Historic Sites with a specialized medical history and extensive collection of medical instruments, records and books 
 
The Aurora Historical Society is available to assist with certain research. Local history and genealogical files are available for reference. The Ballroom at Hillary House may also be rented to provide a beautiful setting for intimate events.
